African Tech Startups Funding Report 2025 & Full Startup List

African tech startup funding rebounded in 2025 following a couple of years of decline, as the sector began to recover from the “funding winter”.

A total of 178 startups raised over US$1.6 billion over the course of the year.

For the 11th consecutive year, Disrupt Africa is releasing data on the tech investment ecosystem across Africa, contained in the African Tech Startups Funding Report 2025, once again available for FREE. 

The report includes:
